POSITION AND ROLE OF ROAD TRANSPORT FOR COMPANY PURPOSES (PRODUCTION - ORIENTED ASPECT) IN THE TRANSPORT SYSTEM OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The results of study lead us to the conclusion that road transport for company purposes (i.e. production - oriented aspect) has been developing its capacities vigorously and thus marks an increase of physical transport volumes, while covering those segments of transport market traditionally reserved for public road and rail transport. All this sets the economic requirement for providing higher - quality and optimum solutions between the public rail and road transport aspects on one side and the custom on the other. In this concern it is indispensable to provide for mutual cooperation of public rail and road transport from the business and engineering standpoint in conjunction with self - management and economic rational cooperation of transport capacities owned by the users of production - oriented transport aspect and their mergers into the existing organizations of associated labour of road transport and on these grounds search for solutions for the institution of a comprehensive management system and operations on the principles of cooperation and integrated segments of associated labour in specified niches of freight and passenger transport market.
