SELF-ADHESIVE PACKING TAPES IN MODERN FREIGHT TRANSPORT
This paper deals with manufacturing, quality control and utilization of self-adhesive tapes that stick tight responding to pressure. Based upon respective physical and chemical properties of self-adhesive tapes the authors have examined and recommended their use for sealing parcels i.e. boxes by taping.
The authors have also examined the combinations in sealing of transport containers (boxes) of "U", then ”L" and "U" and "L” - "I"
- "U" shape for the parcels of 5-100 kg of weight for different transport aspects (road, rail, postal and overseas).
