POSITION AND ROLE OF TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN SR OF SLOVENIA AT DESTINATION AND TRANSIT POINTS OF TOURIST VOLUMES ORIGINATING FROM THE EC MEMBER STATES

The author deals with the assessment of role of the transit system of Slovenia in attracting and absorbing the tourist volumes from the member states of the EC. Particular emphasis is assigned to the meaning of the transit facilities of rail and road transport with reference to specific aspects of Slovenia that may support the decision of foreign and national tourists (holiday-makers) to visit this republic.
