TRAFFIC/TRAVEL ORGANIZATION AND SAFETY IN THE AUTONOMOUS PROVINCE OF KOSOVO

This paper reiterates the correlation of traffic and tourist trade or travel and provides a brief review of the condition of the traffic system in Kosovo and the situation in the development of travel (holiday traffic) in this province so far. The author makes particular reference to absolute requirement of adaptation of railways to holiday/vacationer traffic volumes in which process comfortable, safe and high-quality rolling stock, civilized and polite dealing with passengers - tourists represent strong elements for higher-quality assessment of natural, cultural and other values in terms of tourist industry potentials.
