ROAD TRAFFIC AS AN ESSENTIAL PREREQUISITE OF TOURIST TRADE ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT

This paper discusses the motives and reasons of tourist trends on the basis of researches conducted in the world in conjunction with the structure of employment of transport segments in individual countries. Tourist travel volumes call for adequate quality of traffic routes while highly inadequate and world-wide known state of our traffic routes results in reduced tourist traffic volumes. The author advocates the indispensable requirement for investments and modernization of road systems as almost 90% of foreign tourists enter our country by road.
