SHARE OF PASSENGER CHARTER FLIGHTS IN TOURIST TRAVEL VOLUMES IN THE SFR OF YUGOSLAVIA

This paper deals with a review of the share of charter flights by years and by airports on the basis of statistical follow-up. There is a permanent tendency on an increasing number of foreign tourists flying charter airlines as compared to their overall number. Comparative data have been based on three different sources while the combination of the three sources of information should serve in the process of reviewing and drawing conclusions on transport and tourist trends in the SFR of Yugoslavia and as a basis for intervention in both sectors or segments.
