HOVERCRAFT AS TRANSPORTATION MEANS ON THE ISLANDS–MAINLAND ROUTE
The authors consider that the introduction of hovercraft fleet may radically improve the existing situation in ferry-boat and passenger transport on the Adriatic and increase the level of service in terms of quality in conjunction with further impulse to the advancement of tourist industry and development of our island regions. The authors suggest detailed research of this transport aspect with particular reference to specific characteristics of our seaside regions and properties of hovercraft.
