POSTAL SERVICES – AN ESSENTIAL PREREQUISITE OF ADEQUATE FACILITIES FOR ADVANCED DEVELOPMENT OF TOURIST INDUSTRY

This paper gives suggestions of an optimum relationship of postal service and tourist industry and within this scope recommendations for introduction of public telephone booths and postal offices per specific number of inhabitants, to subsequently include yachting marina, transit points, and major hotel facilities. The authors believe that in this manner the personnel employed in tourist industry may be relieved of surplus efforts while the postal service/traffic may become far more efficient and attractive for the holiday-makers, and finally, the tourist industry could considerably earn in reputation.
