TRAFFIC SYSTEM STRUCTURE AND ITS ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS IN DEVELOPMENT OF TOURIST INDUSTRY
This paper deals with the influence of the traffic system structure on the development of tourist industry with particular reference to environmental aspects of this structure as the preconditions of tourist industry development. The author identifies negative impacts of the subject structure in urban areas and tourist destinations and recommends successive investments in electrification of railways and extension of rail transport in urban areas and tourist destination areas.
