“JADROLINIJA” – THE MAIN OPERATOR OF PASSENGER LINER AND HOLIDAY TRANSPORT SERVICES ON THE ADRIATIC

The introductory part of this paper deals with the review of development stages of liner services on the Adriatic from the middle of the past century up to the present. Particular emphasis is assigned to the re-orientation from the traditional liner services to ferry-boat services and the problems related to this change. In closing lines the author analyzes the issues of tourist transport services in particular of cruises and the role of “Jadrolinija” within this scope.
