IMPACTS OF TRANSPORT UPON DEVELOPMENT OF TOURIST TRADE IN THE SR OF CROATIA

This paper deals with a review of annual and daily summer passenger transport averages in the direction of seaside destinations in the SR of Croatia, number of tourists in coastal regions by months of 1987, passenger transport volumes reported for seaside airports, vehicle and passenger volumes reported for ferry-boats and pleasure boat marina volumes. All this serves the author to draw corresponding conclusions on how transport activities exhibit their influence upon the development of tourist trade.
