TRANSIT CONNECTIONS OF THE MEMBER COUNTRIES OF THE EC WITH THE RAILWAYS AXLE ’’BALKAN”

The authors using graphs and text present a survey of the permitted speeds on the main lines ’’Balkan” and the traffic performances TEEM trains over a 5 years period. They analyse the traffic of the TEC trains in 1987 through Yugoslavia. In order to improve the situation they recommend many measures (the additional building of second railway tracks where a second one does not yet exist, the reconstruction of certain objects and lineparts, and to build a new line from Ljubljana to Zidani most etc.).
