SOME ASPECTS OF TRACK AND RAIL VEHICLES STATUS OF IMPACT ON THE COMFORT OF JOURNEY

This paper deals with the aspect of comfortable journey and smooth operation of rail vehicles (rolling stock) as an element of safety of rail transport, i.e. elimination of the tripping hazard of vehicles at respective speeds. The authors particularly refer to some major engineering problems in the process of construction and maintenance of the rolling stock and stable capacities of rail transport from the aspect of comfortable and smooth ride.
