INCREASED SPEED AND HIGH SPEED TRAIN SYSTEMS AS AN ELEMENT OF TOURIST SERVICE SUPPLY
The paper involves a review of development of increased speed/high speed train systems in countries where advanced rail systems can set the example for others. The paper lists main technical/technological properties of individual train systems, with the presentation of the EuroCity Train System Network and Map of the European Rail Network for High Speed Train Systems. With reference to the attainments and trends of development of train systems for high and super high speeds the author points to some model solutions for tourist services on the Yugoslav Railways.
