AIR TRANSPORT IN THE SERVICE OF MATERIALIAZTION OF CURRENT AND FUTURE TOURIST POTENTIALS

The author reiterates that the contemporary way of living and respective tempo of life and work, particularly in major urban areas, exhibits positive influence on the development of recreation demand and development of tourist trade in the first place. A relative share of air transport is reported to be on the increase particularly on long-hauls. This calls for the introduction of wide-bodics on intercontinental routes and smaller (light) aircraft on Regional routes and in this respect the introduction of smaller regional airports especially on major Adriatic islands. The author  further advocates better organization of panoramic flights as well as longitudinal connection of Adriatic seaside airports.
